Belle Darsie is a Northern California artist who embeds stories, values, and a little humor in her sculpture, paintings and poetry. Studies in Cognitive Neuroscience brought Belle to the state capital, Sacramento, where she stayed for the rich history, the thriving art community, and a meaningful career in social services evaluation and quality improvement.

Belle's paintings and sculptures are often statements about the materials and colors she uses, honoring nature's resources and found objects' prior use while inspiring new growth and self-reflection. She uses a variety of techniques to express her emotions in light and darkness. As an active member of Valley Sculpture Artist (VSA), Belle also enjoys collaborating with other artists to create and exhibit works with shared vision for sustainability and the beautiful balance of nature and nurture. Through her work and her art, Belle passionately advocates for individual and community well-being.
